August is National Immunization Awareness Month, the month set aside for reminding parents to get their babies, older children, teenagers, and themselves vaccinated.

While Voices for vaccines is always all about vaccines, most people simply go in for immunizations and never give vaccines a second thought. This month, let’s get everyone talking to their friends, family, and neighbors about the importance of vaccines, the dangers of the diseases they prevent, and the responsibility we all have to keep our communities healthy.

In other words, we want to make everyone all about that vax. And what better way to do it than to ask some friends of Voices for Vaccines to sing and dance about being, well, All About That Vax.

Please also view Dr. Plotkin’s entire message about rubella eradication.

Wish you could have been involved? You still can! Show you are part of the team (#TeamVax) by sending (to our Facebook inbox) your photos or drawings depicting what it means to be on Team Vaccine, and we will share these photos on our social media outlets.

Thank you to Dr. Nathan Boonstra and Melody Butler for creative help in this video. A special thank you to CheerSounds.com for vocal recording. And thank you to the many Voices for Vaccines members who contributed videos, including History of Vaccines, Dr. Stanley Plotkin, and Immunize Nevada.
