A former Canadian radiologist\u00a0claims<\/a> that there have been 56 sudden and unexpected deaths among children aged 12-15, saying these deaths were caused by COVID-19 mRNA vaccines and suggesting an increase in sudden deaths and cancer in vaccinated children.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_custom_heading text=”The Facts:” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text css=””]To believe Makis, we would also need to believe that side effects are reported 30 times less often than they actually happen. That\u00a0statistic comes from\u00a0an analysis<\/a>\u00a0of VAERS that claims that severe adverse events during the drug trial should happen at the same rate as the general population, forgetting that adverse events are not necessarily caused by vaccines. In trials, every event, even those not caused by the vaccine, is recorded. However, in the general population, this doesn\u2019t happen as often.<\/p>\n

Remember that anyone\u00a0can report anything\u00a0to\u00a0VAERS, even if it wasn\u2019t caused by the vaccine,\u00a0as noted on\u00a0the\u00a0VAERS\u00a0website<\/a>. One doctor famously submitted a report that\u00a0the\u00a0flu shot turned him into\u00a0the\u00a0Incredible Hulk<\/a>.\u00a0VAERS\u00a0is helpful for keeping track of vaccine safety, but\u00a0just\u00a0because something is reported doesn\u2019t mean\u00a0the\u00a0vaccine caused it.<\/p>\n

This radiologist then goes on to list 10 deaths of children from across the globe, where none of the articles about these children discussed their vaccine history. He continues to\u00a0conclude that every death is a vaccine death without any evidence that\u00a0the\u00a0vaccine was given much less caused these deaths.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the tweet, he mentions 56 deaths (apparently from around the world) of which 5 were cancer. Again, without any evidence that these people were vaccinated.<\/p>\n

No evidence supports\u00a0the\u00a0claim that COVID-19 vaccines cause so-called\u00a0turbo\u00a0cancer\u00a0or any other form of\u00a0cancer.\u00a0The\u00a0idea that these\u00a0turbo\u00a0cancers are a result of vaccines stems, in part, from claims that doctors are seeing huge spikes in\u00a0cancer\u00a0rates. However, even some of\u00a0the\u00a0most powerful carcinogens can take years to\u00a0manifest<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0form of\u00a0cancer. While there has been an increase in early-onset cancers (not\u00a0turbo\u00a0cancer), this increase started in\u00a0the\u00a0early\u00a01990s<\/a>, well before\u00a0the\u00a0introduction of COVID vaccines.<\/p>\n

Vaccines are\u00a0not shown to cause\u00a0cancer<\/a>, and anti-vaxxers have yet to produce credible\u00a0evidence<\/a>\u00a0the\u00a0vaccine is causing\u00a0turbo\u00a0cancers.<\/p>\n
