A\u00a0cardiologist<\/a> claims that mRNA vaccines contain the SV40 virus, and can therefore cause cancer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_custom_heading text=”The Facts:” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text css=””]SV40\u00a0is a\u00a0virus<\/a>\u00a0found in monkey kidneys that can potentially cause cancer in humans via\u00a0tumor (T) antigens<\/a>.\u00a0Unfortunately, batches of\u00a0the\u00a0polio vaccine became\u00a0contaminated<\/a>\u00a0with\u00a0SV40, and\u00a0the\u00a0methods used to\u00a0inactivate<\/a>\u00a0the\u00a0poliovirus did not reliably inactivate\u00a0SV40. Importantly, epidemiological studies have found\u00a0no increased risk of cancer<\/a>\u00a0in those who received these vaccines.<\/p>\n

Since then, a promoter gene (a DNA sequence that starts RNA transcription)\u00a0of\u00a0SV40\u00a0has been\u00a0found<\/a>\u00a0to promote a high level\u00a0of gene expression for producing proteins in mammalian cells and has been used in developing\u00a0DNA vaccines<\/a>.\u00a0The\u00a0process uses\u00a0just\u00a0the\u00a0promoter gene and\u00a0not\u00a0the\u00a0virus itself or any part of\u00a0the\u00a0DNA sequence that encodes for\u00a0the\u00a0T antigen of\u00a0SV40.<\/p>\n

Right now, no evidence exists that mRNA COVID vaccines contain\u00a0SV40\u00a0genes, aside from a single\u00a0paper<\/a>\u00a0that has claimed to sequence\u00a0the\u00a0SV40\u00a0promoter gene from\u00a0the\u00a0Pfizer vaccine.<\/p>\n
