A\u00a0U.S. Senator<\/a> tweeted claims that COVID vaccines carry a 28 times higher risk for myocarditis than COVID itself does and that no young, healthy people have died from COVID.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_custom_heading text=”The Facts:” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text css=””]COVID\u00a0kills<\/a>, even young, healthy people. And death isn\u2019t even the only severe outcome of COVID.\u00a0Long COVID<\/a>, can impact between 4-25% of children and young adults as well.<\/p>\n

Second, while one\u00a0study<\/a>\u00a0did find that rates of myocarditis was higher in males under 40 after vaccination than after COVID infection, the authors of the paper pointed out that COVID-induced myocarditis had a much\u00a0higher risk<\/a>\u00a0of heart failure or death than vaccine-induced myocarditis did.<\/p>\n
