Several previous\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/vaccine-safety\/about\/sids.html\"><u>studies<\/u><\/a>\u00a0show no correlation between vaccines and\u00a0SIDS. One\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/17400342\/\">meta-analysis<\/a>\u00a0even suggests that vaccines halve\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0risk of\u00a0SIDS. And when childhood\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/fact-check\/missed-vaccinations-did-not-reduce-us-sudden-infant-death-rate-2023-09-29\/\">vaccination uptake decreased<\/a>\u00a0during\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0early years of\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0pandemic, there was no subsequent decrease in\u00a0SIDS\u00a0rates.<\/p>\n<p>Public health initiatives such as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/safetosleep.nichd.nih.gov\/campaign\/history\">back-to-sleep<\/a>\u00a0campaigns and vaccination can save lives.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Multiple studies find no link between vaccines and SIDS.
