Keep\u00a0in\u00a0mind that\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0amount of any ingredient\u00a0in\u00a0vaccines\u00a0is very small<\/a>\u2013smaller than what a child will\u00a0encounter naturally<\/a>\u00a0through living and breathing and eating<\/p>\n

Aluminum is\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0third most abundant element on earth and is present in many of\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0foods we eat, in much higher quantities than found in vaccines. Any aluminum<\/a> injected from vaccines is metabolized in\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0body, and\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0vast majority of it is excreted within weeks<\/a><\/p>\n

Because\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0blood-brain\u00a0barrier\u00a0is actually quite good at keeping out those things it doesn\u2019t need, such as proteins and viruses, we can be assured that aluminum adjuvants do not cross this\u00a0barrier. We know a lot now about\u00a0thimerosal<\/a>.\u00a0Thimerosal, a mercury compound used today in some flu vaccines, has caused concern due to its name being confused with a harmful type of mercury. Thimerosal contains ethylmercury, which is safe and quickly leaves\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0body. It\u2019s different from harmful methylmercury found in some fish. Thimerosal<\/a> has been used safely in vaccines, drugs, and contact solutions since\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a01930s. Nowadays, most vaccines use single-use vials, and thimerosal-free vaccines are available for those still concerned.<\/p>\n

Formaldehyde<\/a> has been used in some vaccines for many years to inactivate viruses or detoxify bacteria so\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0vaccines don\u2019t cause sickness. If you\u2019re not an organic chemistry expert that can sound scary but here are\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0facts<\/span>:<\/p>\n

Formaldehyde is actually naturally in our bodies; it\u2019s vital for our metabolic process. Like everything,\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0amount of formaldehyde in your body determines whether it is dangerous.
