A major missive against COVID vaccines in the hearing claimed that they cause infertility and miscarriage.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_custom_heading text=”The Facts:” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text css=””]The\u00a0conspiracy theory<\/a>\u00a0that vaccine manufacturers are purposely trying to depopulate humanity is not new and would not be sustainably secret, given the\u00a0number of people<\/a>\u00a0who have worked on mRNA vaccination over the decades.<\/p>\n

While\u00a0COVID\u00a0itself has been shown to increase the risks of\u00a0adverse maternal and neonatal outcomes<\/a>, studies do not show that same association with the\u00a0COVID\u00a0vaccine. Data collected from the\u00a0United States<\/a>\u00a0through v-safe and from\u00a0Norway<\/a>\u00a0both show that there is no increased risk of\u00a0miscarriage\u00a0after the\u00a0COVID\u00a0vaccine.<\/p>\n

This systematic review and\u00a0meta-analysis,<\/a>\u00a0which included 149 685 women, found no increased risk of miscarriage and had comparable rates for ongoing pregnancy or live birth.\u00a0Conversely, some\u00a0studies<\/a>\u00a0suggest<\/a>\u00a0that COVID infection itself in early pregnancy can cause miscarriage.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
