COVID vaccines are neither\u00a0gene\u00a0therapy<\/a>\u00a0nor\u00a0experimental<\/a>. They were thoroughly tested in large studies and do not change your DNA, as mRNA cannot enter the nucleus of the cell,\u00a0but instead teach your body how to fight\u00a0the\u00a0virus without giving you\u00a0the\u00a0illness.<\/p>\n

Clinical trials and studies show that these vaccines are safe for\u00a0children<\/a>, with serious side effects being extremely rare. However, COVID\u00a0itself can cause long-term health problems. These complications\u00a0include the risk of\u00a0hospitalization<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0severe outcomes<\/a>\u00a0like multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C). While hospitalization rates for COVID\u00a0are generally lower in children than adults, they are still significant, particularly among young children and infants who have not yet developed robust immune defenses.<\/p>\n

Stopping mRNA vaccines entirely would leave people at\u00a0risk for serious illness<\/a>\u00a0and death, as these vaccines have already saved millions of lives worldwide.
