Keep\u00a0in\u00a0mind that the amount of any ingredient\u00a0in\u00a0vaccines\u00a0is very small<\/a>\u2013smaller than what a child will\u00a0encounter naturally<\/a>\u00a0through living and breathing and eating, and as\u00a0this\u00a0study of\u00a0aluminum\u00a0in\u00a0vaccines<\/a>\u00a0shows, they do not accumulate\u00a0in\u00a0a child\u2019s body to toxic levels.<\/p>\n

Because millions and millions of children have followed the\u00a0vaccine\u00a0schedule, scientists have been able to\u00a0conduct studies showing that the\u00a0schedule\u00a0is safe<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While\u00a0Hep B\u00a0is sexually transmitted, it’s not\u00a0only<\/em>\u00a0sexually transmitted. It is also passed vertically from mother to infant during\u00a0birth. The tweet claims that\u00a0mothers are tested so babies aren’t at risk, yet\u00a01,000 infants<\/a>\u00a0get\u00a0Hep B\u00a0in the US every year.\u00a0Hep B\u00a0infection can lead to chronic\u00a0Hep B. Chronic\u00a0Hep B\u00a0can last a lifetime and lead to serious illnesses such as cirrhosis and liver cancer. The younger you are when you get\u00a0hepatitis B, the more likely it will become chronic. There is no cure for\u00a0hepatitis B, but vaccines can prevent it.<\/p>\n

The widespread implementation of\u00a0Hep B\u00a0vaccination programs, including the\u00a0birth\u00a0dose, has led to significant\u00a0reductions<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Hep B\u00a0worldwide.
