It also argues that current vaccine rules are too weak, vaccine mandates harmed young people, and that the FDA must change how all vaccines are tested, approved, and monitored.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;The Facts:&#8221; font_container=&#8221;tag:h3|text_align:left&#8221; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]Prasad claims that VAERS proves that \u201cCOVID vaccines killed children.&#8221; As mentioned in this newsletter many times,\u00a0the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voicesforvaccines.org\/?s=vaers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">VAERS\u00a0<\/a>is a reporting system where\u00a0<strong>anyone<\/strong>\u00a0can file a report about a bad reaction after getting a vaccine. But that doesn\u2019t mean the vaccine actually caused the problem.<\/p>\n<p>When you visit the\u00a0VAERS\u00a0website, it warns that &#8220;VAERS\u00a0reports may contain information that is<strong>\u00a0incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental, or unverifiable.&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0Because of this, scientists must be very careful about how they use\u00a0VAERS\u00a0data. The graph itself shows this problem too\u2014it says vaccine deaths are only\u00a0<em>suspected,<\/em>\u00a0not proven. In fact, the reports don\u2019t always mean there is a real link to vaccines at all.<\/p>\n<p>If vaccines were killing large numbers of children, we would see this in\u00a0<strong>all-cause mortality and excess-death data<\/strong>\u00a0in highly vaccinated areas\u2014which we don\u2019t. In fact, higher vaccination coverage is associated with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/articles\/PMC9862920\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>lower<\/em><\/a>\u00a0all-cause mortality. Carefully reviewed safety data have found\u00a0<strong>extremely rare<\/strong>\u00a0deaths plausibly linked to COVID vaccines, versus\u00a0<strong>hundreds of thousands of COVID deaths and many pediatric hospitalizations<\/strong>\u00a0prevented.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Claims that COVID vaccines killed kids are based on misused VAERS data.
