Does that mean that they do cause those things?[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;The Facts:&#8221; font_container=&#8221;tag:h3|text_align:left&#8221; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<strong>What Federal Vaccine Labels Say About Safety Testing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Federal rules say that drug and vaccine inserts (the papers that come inside the box for the vaccine) must include a section about three safety questions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Can it cause cancer<\/li>\n<li>Can it damage genes?<\/li>\n<li>Can it affect fertility?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecfr.gov\/current\/title-21\/chapter-I\/subchapter-C\/part-201\">This section<\/a> is called <strong>\u201c<\/strong>Carcinogenesis, Mutagenesis, Impairment of Fertility.<strong>\u201d <\/strong>The insert must say if long-term animal studies were done. These studies look for possible risks, such as cancer or fertility problems. If the studies found anything important, the insert must explain it.<\/p>\n<p>The rules also say that this section is only for <strong>animal study information<\/strong>. If there is safety information from humans, it belongs in a different part of the label, such as the <strong>\u201c<\/strong>Warnings and Precautions<strong>\u201d<\/strong> section.<\/p>\n<p>All of this to say that vaccines and their ingredients <a href=\"https:\/\/vaxopedia.org\/2017\/10\/24\/are-vaccines-evaluated-for-mutagenicity-carcinogenicity-or-impairment-of-fertility\/\">are indeed reviewed <\/a>for possible risks, including cancer, gene damage, and fertility problems.<\/p>\n<p>Vaccines are also watched closely after they are used by the public. Several safety systems continuously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voicesforvaccines.org\/toolkits\/vaccine-overview-development-safety\/\">monitor<\/a> or check for possible problems.
