Medicaid is a health insurance program for people with lower incomes. These records can show what health problems doctors wrote down after a patient visit.<\/p>\n<p>But this analysis does not seem to be clearly published or available for other experts to check. We could not find a peer-reviewed paper by Hooker that proves the \u201cfive times\u201d claim or the claim that vaccinated girls had more HPV diagnoses. Nothing that other experts checked before the study was published seems to exist.<\/p>\n<p>Health insurance records can show patterns, but they cannot prove that one thing caused another. As one\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/articles\/PMC8882362\/\">article<\/a>\u00a0explains, \u201cassociation and causation are not the same.\u201d For example, they can show that a person got a vaccine and later had a diagnosis. But that does not prove the vaccine caused the diagnosis. This claim needs stronger evidence before it can be treated as reliable.<\/p>\n<p>Large studies have looked at HPV vaccines and fertility, or\u00a0the ability to get pregnant. These\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/tarahaelle\/2018\/08\/22\/no-ovarian-failure-risk-after-hpv-vaccine-study-finds\/#2917827f5b63\">studies<\/a>\u00a0do not show that HPV vaccines cause\u00a0the ovaries to stop working normally or as expected. Some research has even found that HPV vaccination may be linked to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedaily.com\/releases\/2017\/09\/170919160337.htm\">better fertility<\/a>\u00a0for some women.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HPV vaccines are not shown to harm reproductive health.
