She said her 18-month-old twins died because of three vaccines they got. Now, she has been charged with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/mom-charged-with-murder-after-blaming-vaccines-for-death-of-twins\/\">murder<\/a>.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;The Facts:&#8221; font_container=&#8221;tag:h3|text_align:left&#8221; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]Many studies have looked at vaccines and SIDS. SIDS stands for sudden infant death syndrome. It is when a baby dies suddenly, and doctors cannot find a clear cause, even after an investigation.<\/p>\n<p>The evidence does not show that vaccines cause SIDS. Some\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aap.org\/en\/news-room\/fact-checked\/fact-checked-there-is-no-link-between-vaccines-and-sudden-infant-death\/\">studies<\/a>\u00a0found no change in SIDS risk after babies got vaccines. Other\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/europepmc.org\/article\/MED\/17400342\">studies<\/a>\u00a0found that babies who got vaccines had a lower risk of SIDS.<\/p>\n<p>Experts do not say vaccines prevent SIDS. That is because families who vaccinate on time may also be more likely to do other things that lower the risk, like putting babies to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/safetosleep.nichd.nih.gov\/\">sleep on their backs<\/a>. But the evidence does not show that vaccines raise the risk of SIDS.<\/p>\n<p>We also should not guess what caused these children\u2019s deaths. There may be a trial, and more facts may come out later.<\/p>\n<p>What we do know is that the children died on May 1, 2025. Just three weeks later, their parents were\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/live.childrenshealthdefense.org\/chd-tv\/events\/trending-news-segments\/breaking-toddler-twins-born-together-died-together-following-vaccinations\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">interviewed<\/a>\u00a0by Children\u2019s Health Defense, RFK Jr.\u2019s anti-vaccine group.
