We do not believe this.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, sanitation hurt.\u00a0Before\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a01900s, most kids were exposed to polio as babies, which helped them build natural immunity. Better sanitation from\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/articles\/PMC4108111\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3Dcd78f71b24%26e%3Dfc0735be13&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1729878265970000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3g7Fu_y-0iY5jj_bUPc-Oj\">Industrial Revolution<\/a>\u00a0improved health but also reduced exposure to\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0virus, leading to polio outbreaks.<\/p>\n<p>To get his Shellenberg to agree, Rogan showed him some graphs and suggested they showed polio rates going down before\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0vaccine was introduced.<\/p>\n<p>But he completely misunderstood\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0graph.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"il\">The<\/span>\u00a0graphs, found\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vaclib.org\/sites\/debate\/web1.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3D88b039a8f8%26e%3Dfc0735be13&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1729878265970000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2g7PnBy7ly9IZ_b2_HO6cF\">here<\/a>,\u00a0show that\u00a0<em>deaths<\/em>\u00a0had already drastically fallen before vaccines.\u00a0<a a competing COVID vaccine while he was speaking out against mRNA vaccines, was citing bad science when claiming contamination of synthetic DNA that &#8220;presents risks of a genomic instability which can manifest as cancers, immune disorders, and hereditary diseases.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"il\">The<\/span>\u00a0synthetic DNA he refers to is a promoter gene (a DNA sequence that starts RNA transcription) used in vaccine production.\u00a0In other words, a\u00a0promoter gene is like a switch in DNA that tells\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0cell when to start making RNA, which is used to make proteins. It controls when and how much of a gene gets turned on, helping\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0cell know what to do and when to do it.<\/p>\n<p>While promoters are used to make mRNA vaccines, they are not considered an ingredient in\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0vaccines since almost all of them are removed during production. These claims, that DNA plasmids were found in mRNA vaccines at a higher proportion of mRNA to DNA than is allowed by FDA guidelines, originally stem from a previous preprint\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/healthfeedback.org\/claimreview\/claim-covid-19-mrna-vaccines-dna-contaminants-study-unknown-provenance-no-evidence-covid-19-mrna-vaccines-alter-dna-people\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3Ddab458b977%26e%3Dfc0735be13&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1729878265970000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2yCx1wIO7mZM3B4RPmHMFf\">paper<\/a>\u00a0acknowledging that one limitation of\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0study is\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0\u201cunknown provenance of\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0vaccine vials under study.\u201dThey also note that\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0vaccines arrived without being stored at proper temperatures and were all expired.<\/p>\n<p>Dalgleigh cites\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0authors&#8217; follow-up paper, a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/osf.io\/preprints\/osf\/mjc97\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3D864b39e331%26e%3Dfc0735be13&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1729878265970000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2dlc-nhoFtz69qGusVzgLo\">pr<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/osf.io\/preprints\/osf\/mjc97\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3D460b1f3c6f%26e%3Dfc0735be13&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1729878265970000&amp;usg=AOvVaw0WR1Tb5qZdB8zrqZugDdi_\">eprint<\/a>\u00a0testing \u201c24 unopened expired vials\u201d and \u201cthree vials of in-date remnants.&#8221;\u00a0<span class=\"il\">The<\/span>\u00a0exported and improperly stored vaccines are a problem. Since mRNA breaks down or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nebraskamed.com\/COVID\/where-mrna-vaccines-and-spike-proteins-go\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3Dda94c9d2e1%26e%3Dfc0735be13&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1729878265970000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2jCzMLnOjVlMZEmxAjzedd\">degrades<\/a>\u00a0much faster than DNA,\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0small amounts of DNA used in making\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0vaccine could become larger in proportion compared to\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0mRNA remaining.\u00a0<span class=\"il\">The<\/span>\u00a0DNA would be more noticeable, especially in expired vials or vials that weren&#8217;t stored correctly.<\/p>\n<p>More importantly,\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0mRNA and\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0promoters cannot get into\u00a0<span class=\"il\">the<\/span>\u00a0nucleus of cells and cannot change DNA. mRNA vaccines are not gene therapy.<\/p>\n<p>There is also\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cancer.gov\/about-cancer\/coronavirus\/covid-19-vaccines-people-with-cancer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3D24c8668d3c%26e%3Dfc0735be13&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1729878265970000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1NpXSWoLF8J3MC_aWYXmQt\">no evidence<\/a>\u00a0that COVID vaccines cause cancer.
