Researchers watched for serious events for the length of the study (5 months for that particular study), 14\u00a0days\u00a0for systemic\u00a0NSAEs (i.e., fevers), and\u00a0five\u00a0only\u00a0days\u00a0for the injection site NSAEs.<\/p>\n<p>Hep\u00a0B\u00a0infection can lead to chronic\u00a0Hep\u00a0B. Chronic\u00a0Hep\u00a0B\u00a0can last a lifetime and lead to serious illnesses such as cirrhosis and liver cancer. The younger you are when you get\u00a0hepatitis\u00a0B, the more likely it will become chronic. The sequence used is just the promoter gene and does not include any part of the DNA sequence that encodes for the T antigen of SV40. While promoters like the SV40 promoter are used in the manufacturing of mRNA vaccines, they are not considered an ingredient in the vaccines as the vast majority of it is removed during production.<\/p>\n<p>Manufacturing vaccines for a small batch for a trial is a very different process than <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.pfizer.com\/pfizercom\/How_Pfizer_Scaled_Up_Manufacturing_Covid19_10182022.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3Dcf8bb15e9a%26e%3Dfc0735be13&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1732293055083000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2SF6CFG327Alfr2XuKE5fO\">manufac<wbr \/>turing<\/a>\u00a0thousands of doses at a time.\u00a0Process\u00a01 is\u00a0the\u00a0small batch\u00a0process, while\u00a0process\u00a02 is\u00a0the\u00a0scaled-up version.<\/p>\n<p>Although\u00a0the\u00a0processes\u00a0are different, they are both held to\u00a0the\u00a0same safety and quality standards.<\/p>\n<p>Original claims that DNA plasmids were found in mRNA vaccines at a higher proportion of mRNA to DNA than is allowed by FDA guidelines stem from a previous preprint\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/healthfeedback.org\/claimreview\/claim-covid-19-mrna-vaccines-dna-contaminants-study-unknown-provenance-no-evidence-covid-19-mrna-vaccines-alter-dna-people\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3D8078927066%26e%3Dfc0735be13&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1732293055083000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2qnj9DFzepW5xqRBc40w0j\">paper<\/a>\u00a0acknowledging that one limitation of\u00a0the\u00a0study is\u00a0the\u00a0\u201cunknown provenance of\u00a0the\u00a0vaccine vials under study.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One great thing about using mRNA in these vaccines is that mRNA\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nebraskamed.com\/COVID\/where-mrna-vaccines-and-spike-proteins-go\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3D043a4fde80%26e%3Dfc0735be13&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1732293055083000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2hp7HWw52bVmDYmKZaMF5s\">degrades<\/a>\u00a0very quickly, generally within days. The spike protein stimulates immunity and will be neutralized by the immune system.
