It is also passed vertically from mother to infant during\u00a0birth. The tweet claims that\u00a0mothers are tested so babies aren&#8217;t at risk, yet\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=e17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97&amp;id=382ad66898&amp;e=7362aa7434\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3D382ad66898%26e%3D7362aa7434&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1756436124051000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2MU0jD70zC63WASedoH09V\">1,000 infants<\/a>\u00a0get\u00a0Hep B\u00a0in the US every year.\u00a0Hep B\u00a0infection can lead to chronic\u00a0Hep B. Chronic\u00a0Hep B\u00a0can last a lifetime and lead to serious illnesses such as cirrhosis and liver cancer. The younger you are when you get\u00a0hepatitis B, the more likely it will become chronic. Before a study is published, other experts in the same field carefully check it for mistakes, bias, or poor methods. It is the research that is peer reviewed, not the person. If someone says \u201cpeer-reviewed doctors,\u201d they are misusing the term and trying to make their claim sound more scientific than it is.<\/p>\n<p>Second, the timeline in these claims keeps\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/articles\/PMC8115834\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shifting<\/a>. At different times, people have said that everyone who got the vaccine would die within six months, then within a year, then within three years, and then within five years. Now the claim has moved to 2028. Each time the deadline passes and vaccinated people remain healthy, the prediction changes. This pattern shows that the claim is not based on evidence, but on fear and moving the goalposts.<\/p>\n<p>Third, there is no proof at all that 70% of vaccines were either poison or just salt water.
