It can also pass from a mother to her baby during birth. Some people think babies are safe because mothers get tested, but in the U.S, about\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dchealth.dc.gov\/page\/hepatitis-b-and-pregnancy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">25,000 babies will be exposed<\/a>\u00a0to hepatitis B each year.<\/p>\n<p>If someone gets Hepatitis B, it can turn into chronic (long-term) Hepatitis B. This can last a lifetime and cause serious problems like liver damage, cirrhosis (scarring of the liver), or liver cancer. The younger you are when you catch Hepatitis B, the more likely it is to become chronic. There is no cure for Hepatitis B, but vaccines can stop people from getting it.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the Hep B vaccine, especially the dose given at birth, cases have\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/articles\/PMC4550866\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gone way down<\/a>\u00a0around the world. As noted on the VAERS website,\u00a0anyone\u00a0can report anything to VAERS, regardless of causation.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0most important warning on\u00a0the\u00a0website helps put\u00a0the\u00a0above claims into context:\u00a0<strong>\u201cVAERS reports may contain information that is incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental, or unverifiable.\u00a0<\/strong>Reports to VAERS can also be biased. As a result, there are limitations on how\u00a0the\u00a0data can be used scientifically. Data from VAERS reports should always be interpreted with these limitations in mind.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>These death\u00a0claims usually don\u2019t have any proof to back them up. In fact,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=e17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97&amp;id=06f234b4c8&amp;e=7362aa7434\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3D06f234b4c8%26e%3D7362aa7434&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1757044610487000&amp;usg=AOvVaw250S4W3oYvTO_VkPew9MXV\">the life-saving benefits of the COVID vaccine<\/a>\u00a0vastly outweigh the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=e17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97&amp;id=cd468a931c&amp;e=7362aa7434\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3Dcd468a931c%26e%3D7362aa7434&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1757044610487000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1BniZVqDy9g8BFi1q3NFae\">rare risks<\/a>\u00a0of an adverse event.<\/p>\n<p>As for the claim about the clinical trials and the death rate, he is leaving out some very important data. It does say\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/media\/152432\/download\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>\u00a0that &#8220;From Dose 1 through the March 13, 2021 data cutoff date, there were a total of 38 deaths, 21 in the COMIRNATY group and 17 in the placebo group.&#8221;, which is indeed 23% higher death rate in the vaccine group. While there was a\u00a0slight overall increase in hospitalization for cancer in vaccinated people,\u00a0it varied by cancer type, gender, prior COVID infection, and how much time was required between vaccination and cancer diagnosis.\u00a0When requiring at least 12 months lag between vaccination and diagnosis, the association went away or even reversed for some cancers.\u00a0The study found large protective effects against death, which the video ignored.<\/p>\n<p>The authors emphasized that some results may be explained by confounding factors, healthy vaccinee bias, and the fact that hospital data alone do not capture all cancers.<\/p>\n<p>Not to mention that the idea that COVID\u00a0vaccines cause &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voicesforvaccines.org\/?s=turbo+cancer&amp;post_type=jtf_topics\">turbo cancer<\/a>&#8221; has no scientific backing.
