It also argues that current vaccine rules are too weak, vaccine mandates harmed young people, and that the FDA must change how all vaccines are tested, approved, and monitored.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_inner vc_row-fluid wpex-relative\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3 style=\"text-align: left\" class=\"vc_custom_heading vc_do_custom_heading\" >The Facts:<\/h3>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>Prasad claims that VAERS proves that \u201cCOVID vaccines killed children.&#8221; As mentioned in this newsletter many times,\u00a0the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voicesforvaccines.org\/?s=vaers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">VAERS\u00a0<\/a>is a reporting system where\u00a0<strong>anyone<\/strong>\u00a0can file a report about a bad reaction after getting a vaccine. But that doesn\u2019t mean the vaccine actually caused the problem.<\/p>\n<p>When you visit the\u00a0VAERS\u00a0website, it warns that &#8220;VAERS\u00a0reports may contain information that is<strong>\u00a0incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental, or unverifiable.&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0Because of this, scientists must be very careful about how they use\u00a0VAERS\u00a0data. The graph itself shows this problem too\u2014it says vaccine deaths are only\u00a0<em>suspected,<\/em>\u00a0not proven. In fact, the reports don\u2019t always mean there is a real link to vaccines at all.<\/p>\n<p>If vaccines were killing large numbers of children, we would see this in\u00a0<strong>all-cause mortality and excess-death data<\/strong>\u00a0in highly vaccinated areas\u2014which we don\u2019t. In fact, higher vaccination coverage is associated with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/articles\/PMC9862920\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>lower<\/em><\/a>\u00a0all-cause mortality. Since it became routine in 1991, it has cut new infections in children and teens by 99%. This means many young people have been protected from lifelong liver disease, liver failure, and liver cancer. Because of this vaccine, ending hepatitis B in the U.S. is now possible.<\/p>\n<p>Some people, including the Secretary of Health and Human Services, have raised safety fears about the newborn hepatitis B shot.\u00a0<strong>These concerns are\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/15xbKR_K32hNlO3RNIwwKR-QLr6EbxL_s\/view?usp=drive_link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">not supported by evidence<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hepatitis B\u00a0(Hep B) can spread through sex, but that\u2019s not the only way it spreads. Doctors recommend giving babies the\u00a0Hep B\u00a0vaccine at birth because many babies were being born to mothers who didn\u2019t know they had the infection. Scientists believe that about\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=e17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97&amp;id=ebbee19fdf&amp;e=7362aa7434\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3Debbee19fdf%26e%3D7362aa7434&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1764909456744000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2yC23mflg2SjdQRPWNTcpB\">30\u201340% of people<\/a>\u00a0with long-lasting (chronic)\u00a0Hep B\u00a0got it either when they were born or when they were very young. Only about half of mothers with\u00a0Hep B\u00a0are found before they give birth.<\/p>\n<p>Even today, around\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=e17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97&amp;id=c70225155f&amp;e=7362aa7434\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3Dc70225155f%26e%3D7362aa7434&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1764909456744000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3XWsGxBnK4TVS6FMLQyl39\">25,000<\/a>\u00a0babies in the U.S. are born each year to moms with\u00a0Hep B. If a newborn catches it, about\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=e17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97&amp;id=ca98f05758&amp;e=7362aa7434\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3Dca98f05758%26e%3D7362aa7434&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1764909456744000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2diugDPCP7md1sYihBS5Rc\">90% of them will stay infected<\/a>\u00a0for life. This raises their chances of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=e17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97&amp;id=2dd0856264&amp;e=7362aa7434\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3D2dd0856264%26e%3D7362aa7434&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1764909456744000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3dojJi7VDO5JeSqEoISSBZ\">liver disease and liver cancer<\/a>\u00a0later on.<\/p>\n<p>There are many reasons why mothers don\u2019t know they have\u00a0Hep B. The test for\u00a0Hep B\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=e17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97&amp;id=c9dc2c9f46&amp;e=7362aa7434\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3Dc9dc2c9f46%26e%3D7362aa7434&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1764909456744000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2VMQUjf4f7KbynPLhpkQfP\">is harder<\/a>\u00a0to understand\u00a0than some other tests. A mom might get infected after her first test during pregnancy, but before giving birth. Tests can also be wrong sometimes, showing a false \u201cnegative.\u201d Mistakes can happen too\u2014like ordering the wrong test, reading the results wrong, or not sharing the results clearly.<\/p>\n<p>Hepatitis B\u00a0can also live outside the body for up to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=e17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97&amp;id=2ee750bbb7&amp;e=7362aa7434\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3D2ee750bbb7%26e%3D7362aa7434&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1764909456744000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1KqW6trPfn3MXyWqqNmKWM\">7 days<\/a>, even in dried blood. That means it can spread in other ways, too, like through bites in daycare, dirty needles, or bandages left in public places. This doesn\u2019t happen often, but it\u2019s still possible.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Hep B\u00a0vaccine is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=e17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97&amp;id=5ff9a21c17&amp;e=7362aa7434\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3D5ff9a21c17%26e%3D7362aa7434&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1764909456744000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1-SnAMuxEy7kR2uacWLKeI\">very safe<\/a>. The most common side effects are just soreness or pain where the shot was given. Serious side effects are extremely rare\u2014so rare that none have been proven after millions of doses.
