It does not detail the manufacturing process of the vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>Further, even if this document studied the vaccine\u2019s manufacturing process (it doesn\u2019t), our tweeter fails to understand that process. Just because an element is used in the manufacturing process does not mean that element is present in the vaccine. This distinction between manufacturing elements and vaccine elements is important to understand. This time, he\u2019s trying to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MakisMD\/status\/1645821728764096512?s=20\">claim<\/a> a link between the COVID vaccine and a teenager who had a stroke in November 2022.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_inner vc_row-fluid wpex-relative\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3 style=\"text-align: left\" class=\"vc_custom_heading vc_do_custom_heading\" >The Facts:<\/h3>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>In a series of tweets, this author suggests the COVID vaccines are linked to a number of cardiac events, strokes, and deaths.<\/p>\n<p>In this particular tweet, our tweeter attempts to support his claim by highlighting an article about a young middle school student who suffered a stroke. However, if you look at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwaternow.com\/teenage-green-river-boy-trying-to-recovery-from-stroke\/\">article<\/a>\u00a0itself, it reports that the stroke was a result of a virus called\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ahajournals.org\/doi\/10.1161\/STROKEAHA.118.021556#:~:text=Focal%20cerebral%20arteriopathy%20(FCA)%20of,mainly%20involving%20the%20anterior%20circulation.\">Focal cerebral Arteriopathy (FCA)<\/a>. There is no mention of the COVID vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>There is a name for this tactic of using loads of individually weak examples to overwhelm the reader: it\u2019s called a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voicesforvaccines.org\/toolkits\/family-advocacy-toolkit-download\/advocacy-on-social-media\/#:~:text=statements%20over%20yours%3F%E2%80%9D-,Gish%20Gallop,-In%20this%20argument\">gish gallop<\/a>.
