We do know, from the linked article, that the doctors treating the child during his medical emergencies did not see vaccines as the cause of his blood clots or autoimmune issues. The family received a second opinion from a doctor in Florida who made a name for himself by treating COVID patients with Ivermectin, an ineffective treatment favored by agents of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/jamanetwork.com\/journals\/jama-health-forum\/fullarticle\/2809985\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3Dde4e2a8aa3%26e%3Dfc0735be13&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1703447344512000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3UFqDg--Lqm2wbtiYG2LN0\">disinformation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In one\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC10052419\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/voicesforvaccines.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3De17a65409cd8f13ba7e58cc97%26id%3Dad3031548c%26e%3Dfc0735be13&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1703447344512000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3MrwiTwxpUH4_nu9-Pynga\">study of American veterans<\/a>\u00a0aged 45 and older, researchers discovered a slight increase in the risk of VTE (blood clots in the veins) following COVID vaccination with both viral vector and mRNA vaccines.
