I immunize to keep not just my children safe, but the community we live in safe. My children are lucky enough to have great grandparents that are living, and unfortunately are scarred for life with deafness, legal blindness, and tales of death from measels within our own family. They have heard their great grandfather talk about his best friend down the street dying from polio. They know how important it is to do their part to keep their friends that can not be immunized safe from preventable diseases. This is my eldest, fully UTD right after her Gardisal shot. Perfectly healthy and tri-lingual. And can't no one say there's no light in those eyes.
