I choose to vaccinate my children because I believe the primary prevention of disease through immunization is a gift that should not be taken for granted. I keep up to date on my own immunizations including my flu shot to ensure I don't pass infectious disease to my patients or family members while making a statement that, yes, I believe these vaccines are safe.
