Immunizations save lives. I did a rotation in Brazil in 1988 and saw people hospitalized with tetanus, measles and diphtheria then saw Hib meningitis vaccine in effect in the states. We admitted about 40 kids a year due to this disease in residency and five years later as an attending at the same hospital, we had three admissions! I eagerly took the Covid-19 vaccine today.
