I , first and foremost, immunize to protect the most important thing in my life. My children. I immunize to protect others who cannot be vaccinated. To any parent who thinks vaccines are anything but a miracle, consider a mother 100 years ago as she watched her child die from diphtheria . Or a father digging a grave for his 5 young children wiped out in a flu pandemic. I only wish I could offer the vaccines that too many decline to one of those children. I can almost guarantee they would want it.
