So many reasons. I have been a nurse long enough to have actually seen children suffer and/or die from vaccine preventable diseases. The year I had measles over 500 children died. Tens of thousands more were hospitalized and I was fortunate not to be one of them. Why I vaccinate is to me a no-brainer. I have seen the impact of vaccines. I have seen life expectation increase because of them. I no longer see wards for children with infectious diseases. I vaccinate to protect myself, to protect my family, friends, and community. #Vaccinate #VaccinesWork #VaccinesSaveLives
