I choose to immunize because the science is clear: vaccines prevent diseases. I have done countless hours of research regarding vaccines choosing to seek out credible, scientifically sound sources of information and have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the consequences of choosing not to vaccinate. I know that being healthy includes preventing disease and I choose prevention over treatment. Vaccinating is something I not only do for the benefit of my own family but for the benefit of those in my community who are immunocompromised or medically exempted from vaccination.
