I choose to vaccinate because having earned a Master's degree in Molecular Biology, I understand how vaccines work and how they affect the body, and in my professional opinion, the benefits far, far outweigh the risks. I work in a hospital that caters primarily to an immunocompromised population, and beyond protecting just myself, protecting our patients is just the right thing to do. It's the duty of everyone who is able, to do their part to maintain herd immunity for those who can't.
