There’s a narrative amongst anti-vaccine activists that people who work in the vaccine world are doing it for the money. Be they pediatricians or advocates or pharmaceutical employees or government workers, the story goes that they are primarily motivated by money.

Of course, this story is false. I’ve met hundreds of “vaccine people,” as I call them, and they are kind and fun and benevolent in their intentions.

When I found out I would be attending the biannual National Immunization Conference in Atlanta, I knew that the podcast presented the perfect opportunity to introduce a small sampling of these amazing people to the world. I hope you listen because you never know who you might meet at NIC!
