If I had a penny for every time I said, “I’m talking about mothers here because mothers are the people who usually make decisions about healthcare for their children,” I’d probably have a dollar. Still, we talk a great deal about motherhood, Crunchy Moms, Mom Tribes, mommy groups, and so forth when we talk about vaccines. What about the dads?

Dean Masello might not be your typical dad–but he sure could be. He is highly engaged in medical decision making for his twin toddlers and highly engaged in vaccine conversations. So we interviewed him in our latest episode of the Vax Talk podcast to find out what he is doing differently and how we can invite all dads to be vaccine decision-makers and advocates.
